.
Just a reminder, we will not be selling any food. It's your
responsibility to provide for yourself.

Red Dawn 4 scenario is divided into SESSIONS. The day will be divided into 2 sessions, morning and afternoon. With 3 gaming periods of 30 minutes each for a total of 6 games. No Reincarnations during game periods, only at the start of a gaming period will eliminated players be allowed to return to the field. There will be several designated reincarnation staging areas per side. Individuals re-inserting into the field of battle will report to their designated areas. Delta for the soviet Paratroopers, X-Ray for the Soviet 40th army. Foxtrot, the Village of Khost and Bravo for Afghan forces. Echo for Arab Foreign fighters. If either Foxtrot, the Village or Echo are captured by the Soviets in the previous gaming period then Bravo will be the re-insertion base. Bravo is not open for capture.

Victory Conditions:
Soviet Forces- Must hold and defend Delta and keep at least one of the roads open.
Afghan Forces- Must take possession Delta and hold it until the end of the 6th game.

First Session and beyond
Soviet Forces can equally divide between the 9th Para. at Delta and the 40th army at X-Ray. Only 40th army may leave X-Ray and attack any Afghan units it encounters. 9th Para may only defend Hill 3234 (Delta) and portions of the upper road. 40th army forces may advance and capture Afghan bases and deny re-insertion points to Afghan forces.

Re-insertions
40th Army- Those who were eliminated during the previous period will re-insert at X-Ray. Those who were left alive from the previous period may also return to X-Ray or afghan bases captured from the previous period. It's up to the Soviet commander discretion as to which base he places his forces
9th para re-inserts at a drop zone above Delta (indicated by the red arrow) and must fight their way into Delta.

2nd Session
Start of the 4th game, the Soviet tanks make their way out of X-Ray in support of the infantry. Soviet armor may split and advance on both the main and middle roads. Armor may only be taken out by Afghan Rockets.

First Session and beyond
Afghan Forces- At the discretion of the Afghan Commander he may equally divide his forces between Foxtrot, Bravo and the Village of Khost. Their objective is to deny soviet passage to the rest of the field while trying to capture hill 3234 (Delta). It is important that Afghan Forces not lose control of their bases. Losing a base means the Afghan Forces have fewer re-insertion bases for the next gaming period.

Arab Foreign Forces- Their main HQ base is Echo and their soul objective is to engage 9th paratroopers and capture Hill 3234 (Delta).

Re-insertions
As long as Afghan Forces still control their bases from the previous game period, at the discretion of the Afghan commander they may re-insert at any of their 3 bases.

Echo is their only re-insertion base.

Note
Bravo is the only base that is out of reach of the Soviet Forces. So, if the Afghan Forces as well as Arab Foreign Fighters lose control of the battle field, their remaining base, Bravo, will be their re-insertion base.
